Pete Thomas would be all for it. He wore the color in high schoolCheap Los Angeles Dodgers Hats , and his family watched the game in his old prep jerseys as part of “Orange Out” day at the stadium. He said he told Fairchild before the game the Rams would win because of it.

“Maybe,” Fairchild said with a grin.
